Hello, I'm
Mechatronics engineer specializing in industrial automation, hardware & software design, and building management systems. Currently following the pre-master for Systems & Control at TU Delft, alongside working as PLC programmer and IT student employee at Fleet Robotics. Previously Hardware & Software Engineer at ICT Group, with internships at Siemens Netherlands and Royal Houdijk.
Restoring a classic 1975 English sports car together with my friend Gijs. The car was in storage since 2010 and is now back on the road.

Gezelschap Leeghwater
The Schakel Committee brings together all bridging (pre-master) students — coming from universities of applied sciences, Dutch universities, or abroad — who often arrive in Delft new and on their own, and helps them connect. As Acquisition Officer I am responsible for all contact with companies and people outside the committee.
Working in industrial automation, serving high-profile clients including Petrogas, Cargill, ESA, and Mammoet. My role spans the full project lifecycle — from consulting with clients to understand their operational needs, to designing hardware and software solutions, building simulations, and implementing systems on-site.
Developed a commercial demo of Desigo Optic — Siemens' building management platform. Researched customer expectations of the platform, then designed and built a reusable template enabling customers to configure their buildings faster and more efficiently. Every design decision was future-proofed for scalability and adaptability.
Immersed myself in HVAC technology, building a thorough understanding of its principles and applications. Designed and realized a working HVAC system from the ground up. As the capstone, developed a simulation of a multi-building complex that served as the foundation for my graduation project.
Analyzed an existing operational system to identify cost-saving opportunities. Conducted a technical and financial analysis, then took full ownership of the implementation — designing, testing, and deploying the solution from concept to production, ultimately achieving a 30% cost reduction.
Managed the full budget of an 8-day festival for the 25th Lustrum of K.S.V. Sanctus Virgilius, with 40,000 tickets sold across 7 days. Also led the entire build-up crew and held end-to-end operational responsibility during the festival.
Worked as desk clerk across multiple departments and assisted with basic patient procedures.
Repaired and installed slot machines and other casino gaming equipment.
